2022 Winner: James A’Hearn

Biography:

My name is James A’Hearn and I am from Dana Point, CA. I currently go to Saddleback College for a bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Santa Ana College for an A.A in Fire Science. I am planning to become a Firefighter/paramedic in the future and get my college degree to better understand the human body and demonstrate my willingness to achieve goals through adversity. I am currently a Laguna Beach Ocean Lifeguard with my EMT certification as well.

Reaction Statement:

With this scholarship award, I have the opportunity to pay forward by being the best student possible and serving my community with integrity and honor. Thank you for your time and consideration.

2021 Winner: Chloe Barrett

Biography:

Chloe Barrett is an incoming student at The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. She graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Denver in 2018. After graduation, Chloe hopes to represent individuals in civil rights matters, with an emphasis on police misconduct and brutality cases.
