Attorney Scott Henry Annual Scholarship

Congratulations to our 2022 Attorney Scott Henry Annual Scholarship winner, James A’Hearn.

Criminal justice attorney Scott Henry utilizes his passion for the criminal justice system by advocating on behalf of individuals that are facing criminal charges. To share his passion for the criminal justice system, Scott Henry is proud to announce The Attorney Scott Henry Annual Scholarship!

This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one student who best expresses their passion for the criminal justice system. We want students to share with us the DUI law and current crime rate in their area. We want to hear ways of improving the safety in your community in relation to drinking and driving from both perspectives. Please describe events, classes, or other ideas that you have that could be implemented in your city or neighborhood to reduce the number of drivers under the influence on the road.

It is our hope that through this scholarship, we can help promote safe behavior in our community and together strive to improve the criminal justice system.

Eligibility

To be considered for Attorney Scott Henry Annual Scholarship, students must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law program within the United States. High school seniors who will be enrolled in college before the application deadline of June 1, 2024 are encouraged to apply. Candidates must also have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. All applications must be submitted by the deadline of June 1, 2024 to be considered.

Application Requirements

  • An updated resume with contact information
  • A current official or unofficial academic transcript
  • A 750-word essay describing the DUI law in their area and the current crime rate. Consider ways to improve the safety in your community in relation to drinking and driving, from both perspectives. Please describe events, classes, or other ideas that could be implemented in your city to reduce the numbers of drivers under the influence on the road and promote safe behavior.

Application Deadline and Instructions:

All scholarship criteria must be submitted to tustin@topcriminallawfirm.com by June 1, 2024 with the subject line: “[Applicant’s First and Last Name] – Attorney Scott Henry Annual Scholarship” to be considered. Any applications sent after the June 1st deadline will not be considered.
