WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DUI AFTER SPEEDING

A Woodland woman has been arrested for driving under the influence late Wednesday night after she was caught for speeding.

According to the Daily Democrat, Irma L. Lopez, 29, was driving a 1999 Plymouth van northbound on CR-22 when officers began to follow her as she was speeding. Upon coming up to a red light, Lopez slowed abruptly and stopped halfway into the intersection. Once officers pulled over Lopez, they noticed signs of intoxication and proceeded to investigate whether she was driving under the influence of alcohol; Lopez was then arrested for a California DUI.
