A man known for being a Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver as well as a “Dancing With the Stars” champion has been arrested for driving under the influence early Saturday morning in Atlanta. According to the LA Times, 35-year-old Hines Ward was arrested and booked into the DeKalb County jail around 3:41am on suspicion of a DUI. Ward’s attorney has issued a statement saying that “the facts will show that Hines was NOT impaired by alcohol while driving” but that he is deeply saddened and apologizes to his fans. Ward was released on $1,300 bond even though records show his bond was set for $1,000.
