Senator Roy Ashburn, an outspoken anti-gay activist, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after leaving an openly gay bar.
Senator Ashburn was arrested in Sacramento and released on a $1400.00 bond. Ashburn has run his senatorial seat on a family values platform.
