Rodney King was arrested for driving under the influence in California Tuesday afternoon.
According to the NY Daily News, the 46-year- old man was driving a 1994 Mitsubishi after officers watched King commit multiple traffic violations. Upon further investigation, officers found King to be driving under the influence although they were not sure if just alcohol or drugs as well. King’s 1991 arrest, where he was videotaped being beaten by Los Angeles police, caused several riots all across LA that resulted in 55 people being killed and causing more than $1 billion in property damage.
