Shortly before 9:00 am Monday, an 89-year old man was struck and killed by Kevin Earl Moore of San Diego. Officers believe that Moore was under the influence of a narcotic at the time of the accident which left the pedestrian dead at the scene. Mr. Moore’s Infinity sedan veered off the road striking the man as he was walking on a sidewalk in the 500 block of Eighth Street. Mr. Moore is being held without bail and is set to have an arraignment on Thursday afternoon.
