Chris Kattan formerly of Saturday Night Live was arrested in Encino on suspicion of DUI early this morning after crashing into a state vehicle. Caltrans was working on a guardrail of the 101 Freeway when Kattan allegedly collided with one of the vehicles. According to authorities the area was well marked warning oncoming traffic of the lane closure including the use of orange cones and flashing arrows. Luckily, no injuries occurred as a result of the incident. Prior to the collision, a 911 call had been placed by an unknown driver stating that Kattan’s vehicle was driving erratically. Kattan reportedly admitted he was on prescription drugs.

The comedian is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live. A fan favorite was his portrayal of Mango. He also starred in A Night at the Roxbury, Corky Romano and was most recently featured on Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off.
