FORMER NEW YORK PITCHER CHARGED WITH DUI AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT

Dwight Gooden, former pitcher for the New York Mets and the New York Yankees was charged with driving under the influence of drugs early last week. Gooden was charged with leaving the scene of the accident after being involved in a two-car collision. A child was in the car, but police would not release the identity. Gooden faces jail time with the charges pending against him.
