FORMER COUNTY SUPERVISOR ARRESTED FOR DUI

POSTED BY THOMAS V. WALLIN || 9-JUN-2011

A former Kern County supervisor has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he failed to perform DUI field sobriety tests.

According to Bakersfield.com, Pete Parra was driving on Highway 178 near Haley St. when he was pulled over around 10pm. Officers noticed signs of intoxication and Parra informed them he had a couple of beers at around 2pm, went back to work and then continued to another restaurant for more beers. After the failed DUI sobriety tests and a blood alcohol content that showed .09%, Parra was arrested and booked at the local jail.
