DRIVER AND PASSENGER INJURED IN ALLEGED MERCED COUNTY DUI ACCIDENT

21 year-old Edgar G. Haro was arrested for suspicion of a Merced County DUI after he collided with a truck on Highway 165. Haro’s passenger suffered major injuries and was taken to the nearby Modesto’s Doctors Medical Center early on Friday April 30. The truck driver did not suffer any injuries. California Highway Patrol stated that Haro turned left in front of the truck causing the collision at the August Avenue intersection.
