A Lake Elsinore man has been arrested for driving under the influence after he caused a single-vehicle collision early Sunday morning.
According to My Valley News, 21-year-old Saul Pena Preciado was driving on Lakeshore Drive when he attempted to turn right onto another street but lost control. Preciado’s white Ford 150 truck hit the center divider, damaged a roadway sign and continued across the westbound lanes before coming to a stop on the sidewalk, between a retaining wall and a utility pole. Preciado was taken to the Inland Valley Medical center for treatment of minor injuries before he was arrested and booked for driving under the influence.
