It is an all too common headline these days. Traffic stops turning deadly. The following video shows Officer Ray Tensing pull over Samuel Dubose for a missing license plate. The tragic incident turns deadly within minutes. Officer Tensing has since been indicted on murder charges for the incident.
Former University of Cincinnati Police Officer Ray Tensing, 25, was released on $1 million bail from the Hamilton County jail. The body camera video, shown below, allegedly contradicted Tensing’s account of the incident. Tensing stated that he feared for his life when the vehicle began to move forward, crashing a short distance later. Prosecutor Joe Deters said the vehicle rolled only after Dubose was shot in the head, killing him instantly.
